Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 8, 2026

Suncoast Digital Services ("Suncoast," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you give us — name, business name, email, website, and anything you write in the message field when you request a review or contact us.
  • Publicly available business information — if you engage us, we may look at your website and its public pages to identify accessibility and functional issues.
  • Basic server logs — IP address, user agent, and requested URL, kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent personal information.
  • We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • We do not run third-party marketing trackers on this website.

How we use information

  • To respond to your review request or inquiry.
  • To deliver services you've engaged us to perform.
  • To keep the site secure and operational.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)

We process personal information under the following legal bases: your consent (when you submit a form), performance of a contract (when you engage us), our legitimate interests in running a secure website and contacting prospective clients who reach out to us, and compliance with law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your information ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you may request to know, delete, and correct personal information we collect, and you have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@suncoast.cc. We'll respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Data retention

We keep contact information only as long as needed to respond to your request, deliver services, and meet our legal obligations. Server logs are kept briefly and then discarded.

Data sharing

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this business, including transactional email (Resend), hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), and error monitoring (Sentry). These providers process information on our behalf under written agreements and may be located in the United States. We do not share your information with anyone else except as required by law.

International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you are located outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) with our processors.

Cookies

This site uses only essential cookies required for basic site function (for example, to keep you signed in to the admin area if applicable). We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
